Tom Baker of Placitas was born and raised in California. He has lived across the US and in Europe—worked as a musician in Hollywood—attended photographic workshops with some of the most influential West Coast photographers of the time. Tom works in color and black and white, often on a large scale. He has made the transition from large format film camera to digital, doing all his own work from the camera to the processing of the images to the printing and framing. “After all these years, there is still enjoyment and satisfaction in the process and the end result.”
